Iran, Luxemburg to expand financial and economic ties

October 17, IFIF public relation- Minister of Finance and Economy Ali Tayebnia visited Luxemburg Economy Minister Etienne Schneider to explore the grounds to broaden scope of economic and financial cooperation.
Iran is willing to expand financial and economic cooperation and remove the obstacles for banking ties with Luxemburg.
Tayebnia said that in recent talks with the head of IMF and the World Bank and economy ministers of Germany, Italy and France, they said that they spare no efforts to remove the obstacles on the way of banking cooperation with Iran.
The Benelux Union is a politico-economic union of three neighboring states in western Europe: Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.
Luxemburg is eager to cooperate with Iran and its universities and technology centers.
